in the UK as a Chartered Surveyor, Konrad’s career spans a diverse experience
in the Real Estate and the Development Industries both in the Private and
Public sectors. He has completed multi- million projects in Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario
and Alberta, and participated in Overseas Trade Missions to France, Germany
and Africa, sponsored by Canadian Entrepreneurs to research Investments in
Mining and Commodities under CIDA programs. |

the Private Sector he provided professional services encompassing Project
Management, Economic Analysis, Site Selection, Design-Build Services, Real
Estate Brokerage, Consulting and Land Valuations for a diverse Clientele. A

Morguard, National Harbour Board (Halifax), The Orlando Corporation, Public
Works Canada, Scarborough Cable TV, The Royal Canadian Legion, Secant
Construction, Telfer Packaging, TetraPak, Templeton Studios, Toronto Medical
Corporation, Trillium Cable TV, Victoria Wood, Whitehall Development
Corporation and Wang Canada. He arranged major funding for Clients to
initiate projects under Federal Economic Development Programs such as DREE
(Department of Regional and Economic Expansion), and LIP (Local Initiatives
Programs) in the Provinces of Quebec and Konrad's
experience in the Public Sector was obtained from Development Management and
staff positions with Ontario Government Ministries and Agencies including
Housing, Government Services, Management Board Secretariat, and Land
Acquisitions and Expropriations for the Highway 407 Toll Road project for
MTO. With GO Transit, he negotiated and completed major land acquisitions,
dispositions, lease negotiations and joint venture consultation. He has
negotiated with Utilities and numerous Municipalities resulting in the
creation of new Stations and over 6,500 additional commuter parking spaces
across the Greater Toronto Area in Bramalea, As
a Director of the GTA Group he now provides
Project Management web based Real
Estate Services to a Select Clientele in the GTA enabling Clients to access
confidential data on encrypted websites to view and monitor the detailed
progress of their Capital Projects on a 24/7 basis. He has served as a President and Council Member over 10 years with the Association of Ontario Land Economists where his current position as Registrar and Internet Chair provides unusual insights into the key players in the Profession of the Land in Ontario. |
