Chartwell To Sell Waterloo Asset To Resolve Competition Bureau Concerns

To acquire six Sifton Properties retirement homes for $432 million, Chartwell Master Care LP agreed to sell the Clair Hills retirement home in Waterloo, Ontario. The Competition Bureau required this divestiture to prevent substantial lessening of competition in the Kitchener-Waterloo regional market.
